Who is Emilie P. Bush?

Bestselling writer Emilie P. Bush is the Publisher of Coal City Steam Blog, and CoalCitySteam.com, as well as other fine blogs. She is also the author of the novel Chenda and the Airship Brofman, (2009) a ripping good yarn available in paper and electronic formats at Amazon.com, and at Smashwords. Emilie’s second novel, The Gospel According to Verdu (2011) picks up where Chenda left off – high in the skies and full of adventure. 2012 will be a big year – with three books planned for production. Her Majesty’s Explorer: a Steampunk bedtime story is Emilie’s first children’s book, brilliantly illustrated by the very talented William Kevin Petty. This gentle tale about a very tired automaton launched February 28th, 2012, and hit #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases that day in the Science Fiction genre, as well as ranking well in Children’s Literature bestseller lists. Still to come are more novels and children’s books: The first draft of a Mythological fantasy set in New York City is complete, and Emilie is plotting the third and final book of the Brofman Series – to be completed later this year. Kevin and Emilie have several releases planned for 2012 AND 2012 from Coal City Stories.

A former Senior Staff Reporter and host of Georgia Public Broadcasting’s Georgia Gazette, Emilie finds it hard to give up journalism for novels – and is an Editor with the Steampunk Chronicle.  Emilie is available as a guest at Writer’s Conventions, Sci-Fi Cons and book signings. She has appeared at Dragon*Con, Steampunk World’s Fair, ChattaCon, MARCON, Crossroads Writer’s Conference, JordanCon, Deep South Con, ConCarolinas, Mensa’s AG, MomoCon, SciFiSummerCon, and TeslaCon, and many more. To arrange for an appearance, or to review her convention resume and references, email CoalCitySteam – at – gmail – dot – com.
